Job Description: BCBA  (full-time)

  • Supervises individualized programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, in natural settings.

  • Schedules regular community visits with caregivers to review program effectiveness.

  • Provides parent training and education.

  • Makes observations, collects data, and charts progress.

  • Coordinates visits to overlap with members of the direct care team to observe sessions.

  • Provides coaching and clinical support.

  • Reviews data and reports submitted by direct care team, and updates individualized programs to assure programs reflect each child’s development and progress towards identified goals.

  • Keeps updated with other related documents and current medical reports for each child.

  • Provides child-related communication to caregivers, the program team, physicians and other health care providers, as appropriate

  • Maintains 70% billable time

Requirements

  • BCBA certificate (with ability to supervise)

  • Experience supervising ABA Programs (1 year minimum)

  • Experience in the field of ABA (2 year minimum)

  • Have reliable means of transportation and valid CA Driver’s License

  • Have legal authorization to work in the United States of America

  • Pass a criminal background clearance

  • Have proof of current "negative" TB clearance

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Job Description: Behavior Therapist (full & part-time)

  • Create a fun and supportive ABA Therapy environment for children with special needs

  • Implement ABA Therapy programs and behavior interventions as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Provide instruction and support to the child, as well as to siblings and parents

  • Promote the development of functional communication skills (i.e. speaking, using assistive communication devices, using sign language)

  • Support the child's independence with adaptive living skills (daily routines)

  • Collect data and track the child's progress over time

  • Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required (BA/BS preferred)

  • RBT Credential preferred

  • Be available late afternoons

  • Have valid CA Driver’s License

  • Have reliable means of transportation

  • Have legal authorization to work in the United States of America

  • Pass a criminal background clearance

  • Have proof of current "negative" TB clearance

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred
